Mpho Manyelo – Physiotherapist
Mpho (Mm-poor) is from South African where he has worked in a state hospital for 7 years. He is very passionate about sports related injuries and musculoskeletal conditions. He is very dedicated to his work, very energetic and always willing to learn to get best results for his patients. Mpho has also worked with a professional soccer team as well as cricket, provincial netball, and hockey teams at various events . He believes that hard work always pays off and there is no better payment than seeing a patient smile again after a successful rehabilitation. His move to New Zealand is highly motivated by his passion for sports injuries and he wants to pursue master’s degree in this area. Outside of work, he is an experience marathon runner, soccer player and loves cycling too.
Physio Direct is ACC accredited so you can come to us directly to get an injury registered with ACC without having to go to your GP first, followed by an assessment, treatment and follow up review, to ensure correct care and recovery. Physio Direct can also refer you directly for Cortisone injections, X-Rays and Ultra Sound Scans and on to Specialists if needed.
