Taumarunui is a town of about 5,000 people, which supports the wider farming community. This is a beautiful part of New Zealand, located in the heart of the King Country and the Forgotten World, with loads of new mountain bike tracks as part of the National Cycle Trail umbrella. With the World Heritage Tongoriro Park on one side and the Wanganui National Park on the other, Taumarunui is the hub of exploration and adventure.
