How do I register with the NZ Physiotherapy Board?

To work in NZ, you have to have NZ Physiotherapy Registration. You can find all the information you need by following the below link.

Please note, this is a huge procedure and takes at least 6 months to gather all the information you need to get your competencies. To avoid any disappointments, please start this process as early as possible.


What Visa should I get?

Physiotherapists are currently on the essential skills shortage list, meaning you can work in NZ on an essential skills visa, under the long term skills shortage list work visa option.

If you are interested in working to gain residency in New Zealand, the essential visa also allows that.
